SoundShare - Social Music Network

1. Open SoundShare app on your iOS device. Create an account and log with it. Adding your Facebook and Twitter account is optional, but will let you share your songs with your friends outside SoundShare.

2. SoundShare will now take you to your profile. Tap Player on the top right corner to see your library. These are the songs inside the iPod app - songs you already own and are synced with your iOS device. The difference is that SoundShare can share what you listen.

3. Start listening to your songs, artists, albums, genres, or playlists. Now, SoundShare will take care of the rest for you. All of the songs you listen will be automatically shared and your friends will be able to interact with them. If you want, you can turn privacy on inside the more tab, and only those you trust will see what you listen.

4. Now that you are already sharing your songs, you can double tap the navigation bar to go back to your profile. There, you can see all of the songs you listened, the ones you liked and your notifications.

5. Next to your profile button, on the tab bar, you can go to Songs Feed. There is where you will see everything your friends are listening. You can also tap on Trending, to see the currently most listened songs. And on the Friends tab, where you can manage your relationships.

What is SoundShare?

SoundShare is an easy and fun way to share the songs you listen with those you love. Start listening to a song on SoundShare app and you are already sharing. Go to your feed to preview, purchase and even watch a clip on Youtube of the songs your friends are listening. Discover new songs, comment and start a conversation and make new friends that like the same songs as you.

Who can use SoundShare?

Anyone with an Apple ID in the U.S and select other countries can use SoundShare. You also need iOS 4.2.1 or later on your iPhone 3GS or later, iPod touch (3rd and 4th generation), or iPad.

Does SoundShare copy my songs?

No, the app only identifies the songs you listen and send plain text to our servers.

Will SoundShare work over 3G on my iOS device?

Yes. Just make sure you have a 3G connection. To do that, go to Settings > General > Network on your device. Turn on Cellular Data.

How much is your app?

Our app is available for free on the AppStore.

What services are you compatible with?

Currently, you can share your songs on Facebook and Twitter. Additionally, you can use your Facebook account to find your friends on SoundShare.

How does privacy work?

If you want to only allow approved friendship to see what you listen, you can go to More > Edit Profile on SoundShare app. Turn on Privacy. If turned on, every follow request will be pending your approval. Other users will only see what you listen if they are approved by you. If turned off, your songs are visible to anyone using SoundShare.
